******
This mod adds new Faces and Hairstyles to Morrowind. About 650 heads of all races have been redone with new faces and/or hairstyles. This mod does not replace all the heads of a given race with new ones, the focus of this mod is instead to increase variety. With this mod installed, many NPC's will still have the original faces made by Bethesda, but many will also have the beautiful and varied faces designed by the Community. I have taken care to replace faces with others that were similar, or suitable to the type of character. Every face was hand placed and the effect checked in the editor, so gross mismatches of hairstyles and face models should be at an absolute minimum. Of course the heads are also playable. Because of the great number of models and hairstyles(it is most likely the largest collection currently in existence)you should check carefully if head and hairstyle match when you create a new character.
To change the face of an existing character type "enableracemenu" in the console. You should do this only once per playing session.
Is this mod the right face mod for you? You decide. If you want a mod that replaces all heads with new ones and thus can offer a more even and refined aesthetic style throughout the game, I would suggest you try "better heads", assembled by Motoki. If you only want a new face for you character you are better off downloading one of the many face packs that do not replace NPC heads.
However, if you can live with some minor inconsistencies in the aesthetic styles and value variety, than you will like this mod.

******
All the artwork is from previously released mods. My task was simply to assemble these and put the faces in the world, the important work was done by the modelers and texturers of the Morrowind community.
This mod started as a private project, and for a while I have not kept track of whose work I used for this mod. If I should have forgotten anyone, I apologize, and please let me know. I have tried to give contact information where I could find it.
The Artists:
Rhedd and Allerleirauh
- Without whom none of this would have happened. Thanks for your beautiful models.

Coworkers on better heads not named below included: Wormgod, Eternum, Nomad, Mantodea, Noviere, Silaria, CanadianIce

This mod has been cleaned with "Morrowind enchanted editor", and partly assembled with Overunity. Enchanted editor and TESPCD were helpful in removing unwanted Tribunal depencies. Enchanted editor was used to copy and rename "Body Part" entries from esp and esm files into this mod and to convert the mod to esm format. The help of these cool tools is gratefully acknowledged.
Thanks to everyone in the Morrowind community for the neverending fun.

INSTALLATION:
********************************************************************************
******
Extract the archive to the data files folder, make sure that the path option is enabled (default).
You can install the mod as a normal plugin file (.esp), or as master file (.esm). In the Morrowind launcher, choose "data files" and enable either the World_Of_Faces.esp or World_of_Faces_Master.esm (never both at once). There are advantages and disadvantages to both options. A masterfile is less likely to cause conflicts with other mods, or the "doubling" effect so this may be preferable if you run a lot of other mods. On the other hand a master file is more difficult to uninstall if you want to get rid of it later, and less easy to edit if you want to change something. After you are done, launch Morrowind as usual, and make a new savegame, so you can revert to the last savegame if this mod should unexpectedly cause problems or if you do not like it.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
********************************************************************************
******
I have done my best to make sure that this mod is safe to use and will not invalidate your savegames, but I can not accept responisibility for any problems that may nevertheless occur. You are advised to make a backup copy of your data-files folder before installing this mod.
Due to the many mods that were combined into this one, there may be some redundancy in the models, although I have tried to avoid that as well as I could. I have also done my best to make sure that all models and textures are included. Overunity was a great help, but unfortunately didnt work perfectly, so I had to do some manual copying nonetheless. If you notice errors, please tell me.

Distribution and modding use
********************************************************************************
****
You can freely distribute this mod, as long it is not for commercial purposes (as if).
The original face packs released by the modelers whose work is featured in this mod indicated that modders can reuse their material if due credit is given. You can therefore in turn use this mod as a basis for your own work. However since this mod already recycles original releases, and ownership may become increasingly confused, I would advise to use the original releases wherever possible instead.
I here also reproduce the disclaimer from the better heads mod:
YES you can "reuse", "remake", "redistribute" etc some, all or any part of this mod. Gorg and Arathrax have asked only 2 things.
First that you give Gorg and Arathrax and any of the original texture artists credit in your readme and
Second that if you alter any models in any way that you change the name of the model, if you use it exactly as is please leave the name as is. (Same request that Rhedd made concerning the reuse of his stuff)
I have confirmed with this and not changed any model names or the placement of the models and textures - this should minimize problems and disk use if you already ahve some of the original plugins installed. I have however changed some of the Body part ID's, particularly those from better heads are now marked with the prefix BH_.
